The Legend Of Roquefort

A shepherd, guarding his flock one day, left the bag containing his bread and cheese lunch in a grotto whilst he wandered the pastures with his animals. Returning at lunchtime, he found himself face to face with a beautiful woman, who promptly disappeared into thin air. Terrified, he fled. When he finally returned, the bread was mouldy, the cheese was blue - but he was so hungry he ate the cheese and found it delicious. From that day he always brought his cheeses to the grotto to age under the magical influence of the benign fairy.
